Temple High School's 2022 entry in the annual UIL One-Act Play Contest is Men on Boats by Jacklyn Backhaus. The third round of the contest (area) will be Saturday, April 2 at the Midway ISD Performing Arts Center, 800 Hewitt Drive, Hewitt TX 76643. The first school performs at 1 p.m. and the shows run back-to-back. Admission is $5 per person (cash or check only). The audience must enter or exit only between shows,

5 p.m. B3 Midway HS — Peter and the Starcatcher
6 p.m. A3 Rockwall Heath HS — Rabbit Hole
Adjudicators will be Eric Porter, Michelle Howard-Schwind and Trip Langley. Travis Poe is serving as contest manager. Three of the six schools will advance to the Region Contest on Saturday, April 23, at Waco University High School.
