Comments: Ms. Tolleson, I met you at an IB conference a few years back in N.M. We commisurated over scoring of the old Research Commissions. I'm SO envious of your continuing success there at Temple! I, too, have kept myself a bit too ambitious going all Julie Taymor with a recent production of the Greek Comedy, THE BIRDS. Last years' assessments were a bear with no training - my kids finally told ME what they had to do! Ha! I've decided that this is my last year teaching - It's TIME! I was telling my kids about BAT BOY and hoped there were photos on your site.

I was browsing the site and was astonished by your success at the convention. Congratulations to everyone. It really is a great time in your lives. Mrs. Tolleson, I just want you to know how grateful I am for everything that you have taught me. I have been working on a lot of films here and so many things from the stage have come into play on set. Even on the Affleck set, the confidence that you instilled in me helped in making some great connections. I hope and pray that everything is going well for all of you. Judging by what I have read and seen on the site, you are all doing fantastic. The stage looks phenomenal... I'm quite jealous. The ninth grade center, however, had its own quaint personality... not that I would ever choose it over the auditorium. I can hardly wait until I see you all again. Comments: Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you guys know that I have been thinking about you all week and I know that you are going to do a great job tonight! I wish I could be there to see the theater on opening night, but I'll just have to envision it in my mind with the help of jody and coach corley's wonderful photography. =) Everything is going great here. We're opening Miss Julie tonight as well, and I will be house managing it. (My first job with a walkie- talkie. The walkie-talkie is so great that I might not go back...=) ) I know this is the first time for many of you to be on stage in front of such a large audience, and I know it is the first time for all of you to be on this particular stage, so make the most of it. Use those nervous jitters to your advantage, let it give your characters life, and live in the moment as you express to the audience this tragic event in history. Comments: As anonymous as I am, I would like to congratulate T high on their new auditorium. I would kill to perform on that stage. Really. I would. But good thing I don't have to. As an anonymous writer, I'd like to give a shout out all the directors a part of the t-high staff for an excellent program that has helped me...ahem...STUDENTS WHOM I DON'T KNOW AND COULD NOT POSSIBLY BE...excell in the theatre arts. Comments: I miss being a backstage mom so much. Jesse Wyman, my son, graduated in 2005 and did four years of theater with Mrs. Tolleson. I helped Mary Jo Koss and Rebecca Brindley make dinners for the tech rehearsal nights. Those were so fun and the kids were so sweet. I enjoyed those times so much and would love to do it all over again. Mrs. Tolleson gave Jesse such a great education in theater that he has pursued it for his career in lighting design. He leaves for Fairbanks, Alaska next month. Thank you, Mrs. Tolleson.

Comments: I like your reporting on the ITS Festival 2008. Congrats to your troupe for all its successes. One small note: I'm not sure the troupe from the UAE is the farthest from Lincoln, NE. The Saipan troupe/chapter (5374 and related troupes) may have traveled further (Internet distance calculators put them about 250 miles further away from Lincoln.!) A few months ago we moved to California and I think this is the absolutely only thing I miss (except may the Bluebonnet Cafe.)
