We stopped briefly at Studio 54, which was just down the street from the workshop location. Laurent explained some of the history of the famous location.

Here is the scheduling board outside the studio used for our workshop. We thought it was very interesting.

Before we met the artist, our tour guide Laurent answered questions about living in New York City and acting on Broadway.

Our guest artist was Donna Lynne Champlin, who plays the part of Pirelli in Sweeney Todd. Donna Lynne plays accordion, keyboard and flute during the performance, in which all the accompaniment music is performed by the actors who are onstage.
